Christmas in July was started with the basic idea of showing the true meaning of Christmas
through love, caring and sharing the story about the birth of Jesus and why he came to earth.

Thunder Outreach invited a locally selected group of children who's families were not financially able to provide any presents for them during the last Christmas season.

Working the the local Salvation Army, Thunder Outreach hosted and sponsored a special Christmas party for ten boys and ten girls at a location like Chick-Fil-A. The party included a Christmas tree, Games, party and presents filled with toys, school supplies and candy.

It was a great day and many were touched at the party and even the people who were
just coming in for dinner that night, who stopped us and asked us "What's Going On??" !
